1. Ready-made Package Travel Agreement
This travel is a ready-made package travel (hereinafter called the "Travel") planned and implemented by Kotohira Bus Co., Ltd. (1228-1, Kotohira-cho, Nakatado-gun, Kagawa Pref., Japan. Registered travel agency business authorized by the governor of Kagawa Prefecture, with the registration number of 2-194. Hereinafter called "Company"). Any traveler (hereinafter called "Traveler") who participates in this travel shall execute a Ready-made Package Travel Agreement (hereinafter called the "Travel Agreement") with Company.
The content, terms and conditions of the Travel Agreement shall be subject to the following terms and conditions, guidebook, the Definite Document and the Part of Ready-made Package Travel of the Standard Terms and Conditions for Travel Agency Business, in addition to the terms and conditions specified in respective travel route.
2. Application for Travel and Establishment of Travel Agreement
Any Traveler who intends to apply for the Travel shall submit to Company or its commissioned sales offices an application form designated by Company where all required items are filled in, along with the following application fee (hereinafter called the "Application Fee").
The Application Fee shall be treated as part of the "Travel Charges", "Cancellation Fee" or "Penalty Fee" to be paid by Traveler to Company.
Company may accept any application for the Travel made by means of communication such as phone, facsimile or mail.
In such case, Traveler shall pay to Company the following Application Fee within 5 days from the date of acceptance notice given by Company to such Traveler.
If the Traveler does not pay the Application Fee within such period, Company may handle the application as if such application was not made by such Traveler.
The Travel Agreement shall become effective at the time when Company has accepted the execution of such Agreement and received the Application Fee from Traveler.

If the Application is made on and after the day falling on the 10th day counted backward from the starting date of the Travel, the Application Fee shall be the total amount of the Travel Charges.
Any Traveler under the age of 20 who solely participates in the Travel is required to submit a written consent of his/her parent or guardian to Company.
3. Payment of Travel Charges
Traveler shall pay to Company the Travel Charges at least 10 days prior to the starting date of the Travel. If the application is made on and after the day falling on the 10th day counted backward from such starting date, Traveler shall pay the Travel Charges within 3 days after his/her application.
4. Application of Travel Charges
Unless otherwise specified, any Traveler aged 3 or above (elementary school student or above in some travel routes) shall pay the Travel Charges.
The Travel Charges are specified in respective travel route. Please confirm their details on the basis of the starting date or the number of participants, etc.
5. Expenses included in Travel Charges
The expenses for transportation, accommodation, meal, accident insurance and taxes such as consumption tax in the travel itinerary are included in the Travel Charges.
The expenses for the services clearly specified in respective plan may be included in the Travel Charges.
The expenses for any accompanying tour conductor (if any) or for any accompanying local staff (if any)
Even if Traveler does not use any part of the above expenses due to his/her personal reason, Company shall not refund such expenses to such Traveler.
The Travel Charges do not include any expense not clearly specified in the travel itinerary or in respective plan, expense during free time, transportation expense to the designated meeting place or expense on food and drink personally used by Traveler, etc.
6. Change of Content of Travel
Even after the execution of the Travel Agreement, if the safe and smooth implementation of the Travel in accordance with the travel itinerary specified in the pamphlet becomes or is significantly more likely to become impossible due to any event where Company may not be involved, such as natural disaster, weather condition, riot, suspension of services provided by transportation and/or accommodation facilities, provision of transportation service not based on the operation plan of Company, or order by public office, Company may cancel the implementation of such Travel or change the content of the schedule, itinerary, content of services or any other content of the Travel Agreement of such Travel, after notifying Traveler of such change in advance.
In case of emergency, Company shall explain such event to Traveler after making such change,
8. Termination of Travel Agreement by Traveler
Traveler may, at any time, terminate the Travel Agreement by paying to Company the Cancellation Fee specified in the Article 10.
In any of the following cases, Traveler may terminate the Travel Agreement, without paying the Cancellation Fee.
If any significant change of the content of the Travel Agreement is made;
If the Travel Charges are increased due to the event specified in the Article 7;
If the safe and smooth implementation of the Travel becomes or is significantly more likely to become impossible, due to any natural disaster, weather condition, riot, suspension of services provided by transportation and/or accommodation facilities, order by public office, or any other reason;
If the implementation of the Travel becomes impossible in accordance with the travel itinerary specified in the document for the Travel, due to any reason attributable to Company.
9. Termination of Travel Agreement and Cancellation of Travel by Company
If Traveler does not pay to Company the Travel Charges by the due date designated by Company, Company shall terminate the Travel Agreement with such Traveler.
In such case, Traveler shall pay to Company the Penalty Fee equivalent to the Cancellation Fee.
If Traveler does not meet the conditions for participation designated by Company in advance (gender, age, qualification, etc.);
If Company considers that Traveler may not endure the Travel, due to his/her disease or any other reason;
If Company considers that Traveler may cause any trouble to other Travelers or may preclude the smooth implementation of the Travel. In such case, if Company incurs any damage, Company shall claim the compensation for damage against such Traveler.
If the number of Travelers does not reach the minimum number of participants necessary for the Travel. In such case, Company shall notify Traveler of the cancellation of such Travel, before the day falling on the 13th day (3rd day in the case of a one-day trip) counted backward from the day immediately preceding the starting date of such Travel.
If the safe and smooth implementation of the Travel in accordance with the travel itinerary specified in the Document for Agreement becomes or is significantly more likely to become impossible due to any natural disaster, weather condition, riot, suspension of services provided by transportation and/or accommodation facilities, order by public office, or any other event where Company may not be involved, etc..
10. Cancellation Fees
After the execution of the Travel Agreement, if Traveler terminates such Agreement due to his/her personal reason, Company shall charge such Traveler the Cancellation Fee calculated at the respective rate set forth below. Any change of the starting date, route or plan of the Travel may be subject to the Cancellation Fee. The due date to which the Cancellation Fee is applied shall be the day counted backward from the day immediately preceding the starting date of the Travel.

10 days before the start of the Travel, in the case of a one-day trip
"One-day trip" means a travel where the total excursion completes in one day only. Any travel with "2 days and 0 night" or "3 days and 0 night" does not fall under a one-day trip.
In the case where the Travel includes the use of accommodation and several Travelers jointly make an application for such Travel, if any part of the application is cancelled, the Travelers who cancel the Travel shall pay the Cancellation Fee, and the Travelers who participate in the Travel shall pay the difference between the room charge for the use of a room by such several persons and the room charge for the use of a room by single person.
If the Traveler does not pay the Travel Charges by the due date designated by Company, such Traveler shall be deemed to have terminated the Travel Agreement on the day immediately following such due date and shall pay the Penalty Fee calculated on the basis of the above respective rate.
11. Tour Conductor
Basically, no tour conductor accompanies Traveler. Traveler shall take the procedures to receive the travel services on his/her own, by using coupons or vouchers necessary to receive such services which Company delivers to such Traveler at the designated meeting place.
12. Liability of Company and Disclaimer
If Company gives, by intent or negligence, any damage to Traveler in performing the Travel Agreement, Company shall compensate for such damage.
With respect to any damage relating to the baggage of Traveler, Company shall compensate for such damage, to the extent of the amount of 150,000 JPY (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Japanese Yen) per Traveler, only if such Traveler notifies Company of such damage within 14 days from the day immediately following the date of the occurrence of such damage.
13. Special Compensation
If Traveler who participates in the Travel incurs any damage during such participation, due to any sudden and fortuitous or contingent accident arising from external cause, Company shall pay to such Traveler compensation or sympathy money in the case of specific bodily injury, or compensation for damage in the case of the baggage, on the basis of the Regulations on Special Compensation of the Terms and Conditions of the Travel Agreement.
14. Communication Agreement
Company may accept any application made by a card member (hereinafter called the "Member") of any credit card company (hereinafter called the "Partner Company") partnering with Company or with any other company which sells the Travel on behalf of Company, by phone, mail, facsimile, internet, or any other means of communication, on the condition that Company receives the payment for the Travel Charges, etc. from such Member without his/her signature on the prescribed slip. (Some commissioned travel agencies of Company may not handle such application, as the case may be.)
Further, the type of cards available for such application varies depending on each commissioned travel agency. The Agreement where the Member signs the prescribed slip and pays the Travel Charges, etc., by his/her credit card does not fall under the "Communication Agreement " but a normal Travel Agreement. In the case of the application by phone, the Travel Agreement shall become effective at the time when Company or any commissioned travel agency has accepted such application.
In the case of the application by mail, internet or any other means of communication, the Travel Agreement shall become effective at the time when Company has sent a notice to Traveler to the effect that Company or any commissioned travel agency has accepted the execution of such Travel Agreement.
However, in the case of sending a notice on the acceptance of the execution of the Travel Agreement, by electronic acceptance notice such as e-mail, such Travel Agreement shall become effective at the time when such notice has reached such Traveler.
15. Base Date for Travel Conditions and Travel Charges
These Travel Conditions and Travel Charges are based on the date of February 1, 2007.
16. Minimum Number of Participants
The number is specified in respective travel route.
